SHEIN Brazil Black Friday 2026: when it starts, how long it lasts and the zero import tax up to US$ 50

The big change this year is the tax. Since May 13, 2026, an international order up to US$ 50 (product plus shipping, already with discounts) pays no import tax. The state ICMS, of 17% to 20%, still applies, and SHEIN says it covers part of it. Above US$ 50, the import tax comes back.

SHEIN puts 11.11 and Black Friday into one campaign, with phases that raise the maximum discount until the end of the month. The table below gathers what SHEIN announced in the last three years. The 2026 calendar is not out yet.

In 2026, 11.11 falls on a Wednesday and Black Friday on a Friday, November 27. If SHEIN repeats the pattern, the offers should start between late October and early November and run until November 30. This is an estimate based on past years, and this guide will be updated when SHEIN announces the 2026 campaign.

Over those three years, the maximum discount rose near the end: 90% on Nov 24 and 25 in 2023, 95% from Nov 26 to 30 in 2024, and 95% from Nov 24 in 2025.

The campaign's percentage is the biggest discount on some items. Most of the catalogue has smaller discounts, and the price of each piece changes across the phases. To avoid falling for the big number in the ads:

• Save the items to your wish list before the campaign starts and note today's price.
• Compare the list price with the prices in the next phases: over the last three years, the maximum discount rose near the end.
• Check the final price in the cart, with shipping and taxes, not just the percentage in the ad.
• If the item comes in a size that is hard to find, don't wait for the last phase: the stock may run out first.

SHEIN takes part in Remessa Conforme, the program that Brazil's Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) runs for international purchases. So taxes are charged at checkout, together with the order. As a rule there is no extra charge on delivery, but Brazil's Federal Revenue may reassess the package value, which changes the tax due. On May 13, 2026, Brazil's import tax on purchases up to US$ 50 was set to zero. Law 15.502/2026, of September 10, 2026, confirmed that the government can keep the zero rate for that band.

The calculation applies per order and uses the product value plus shipping, already with the discounts and the coupon. So the Black Friday discount can bring an order below US$ 50. The limit is in dollars: the checkout shows the taxes on your order before you pay.

SHEIN says it keeps covering part of the ICMS, only on the product value. The size of this subsidy varies from customer to customer, under criteria the store does not publish, and it does not cover the ICMS charged on the import tax.

Products shipped via National Shipping, which are already in Brazil, pay no import tax. And the import tax paid is not refunded if you return the item after it has been shipped.

On SHEIN, the same search mixes items that come from abroad with items from sellers already in Brazil, marked as National Shipping. On Black Friday, the difference affects the final price and the discount rules.

• National Shipping: no import tax. Each seller has its own shipping, deadline and conditions, and SHEIN points do not apply to these items.
• International: goes through customs, with taxes charged at checkout. SHEIN takes 3 to 5 days to process the order before shipping, and the name on the order must match your CPF (the Brazilian taxpayer number).
• Delivery time: the delivery time and the shipping cost appear on the order page before you pay. The order may arrive in more than one package.
• Delay: SHEIN has a free on-time delivery service, which gives 200 SHEIN points or R$ 10 (Brazilian reais) in wallet credit if the order does not arrive by the expected date.

Under SHEIN's coupon policy, one platform coupon applies per order. If the cart has items from Brazilian sellers, you can also use that seller's store coupon: two coupons at most, one of each type. Each coupon has an expiry date, and a coupon that is not used in time becomes unavailable.

SHEIN points are worth US$ 1 for every 100 points and can take up to 30% off the product value, not counting shipping and taxes. They do not apply to items from Brazilian sellers.

SHEIN accepts Pix (Brazil's instant payment system), Brazilian credit cards in up to 6 instalments, boleto (a Brazilian bank payment slip), PayPal and Pagaleve (a buy-now-pay-later service). A boleto must be paid within 3 days, and SHEIN itself suggests a card or PayPal to avoid running out of stock or delays in confirming the payment, which matters in a promotion with short stock.

If you need a refund, Pix is the fastest: SHEIN processes it within 24 hours, and the bank takes 1 to 3 business days. On a credit card, the bank takes 3 to 8 business days, sometimes up to 30 days.

• Deadline: up to 20 days after you receive the item, even if you just didn't like it.
• Items that only come back within 7 days: bodysuits, beachwear, underwear, earrings and piercings, pet products, and cosmetics, party and craft items with the seal opened. These can only be returned within the 7-day withdrawal period, counted from delivery.
• Return shipping: the first return of each order is free, by Correios (the Brazilian postal service), Jadlog or Total Express (Brazilian carriers). From the second return on, SHEIN deducts R$ 45 from the refund for each return.
• Coupon: in a partial return, the coupon counts as used and does not go back to your account. If the order falls below the coupon's minimum value, SHEIN deducts from the refund the part of the discount that no longer applies.
• Tax: the import tax paid is not refunded after the order has been shipped.

• Whether the item is National Shipping or international.
• Whether the international order stays at US$ 50 or less, counting shipping and with discounts applied.
• How much ICMS appears in the order summary.
• Whether the coupon was applied and whether the points were deducted.
• The delivery time, if the purchase is a Christmas gift.
• Whether the item is one of those that can only be returned within 7 days.
